The organization of the BASSAWARDS (International awards of broadcast design) contacted us to make a promotional piece for the festival, alongside .
The visuals put forward by offered a tribute to the work of Saul Bass. So we tried to imagine what we could compose if we had the instruments of that era. We collected some vinyl to extract breaks, wave generators, a spring reverb, we called the trumpet Benet Palet and the bass Xavi Castillo, together with Dani, we got down to work.

We wanted something with a Jazzy flavor, but not jazz. Something with effects, yet were well integrated with the music. Adding some sounds similar to the first electronic music of the 50’s, which are all treated as a whole, and in an “almost” perfect sync. I did not want to make all that happen in the picture, we didn’t want the accuracy of computers to stand out. We liked that margin of “error” which gives it a human touch.
